Creating Pathways for Children to Learn and Thrive
About Me
Jody Miller, PhD, BCBA, LBA is an experienced educational administrator and behavior analyst specializing in collaborative school-family consultation for students with autism, developmental disabilities, and complex behavioral needs. She has directed multi-campus special education programs, launched new school sites, and led interdisciplinary teams serving K–12 students across public and non-public settings. Dr. Miller’s consulting practice focuses on practical, evidence-informed strategies that strengthen consistency between home and school, promote skill development, and support student success across environments.
Support for Schools and Families
I partner with schools and families to support children who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, or learning challenges across home and classroom settings. Through functional behavior assessment, behavior support plan development, and collaborative consultation, I help schools strengthen staff confidence, improve consistency, and promote positive student outcomes. My services include school-based behavior consulting, teacher and staff coaching, and guidance in crisis prevention and de-escalation, with a focus on practical strategies that work in real environments.
For families, I provide compassionate, strengths-based support through home or virtual behavior assessment, individualized behavior planning, and parent and caregiver coaching. I prioritize alignment between home and school systems to ensure that children experience predictable expectations, meaningful skill-building opportunities, and supportive pathways to succeed and thrive across settings.
